A somewhat decimated Plainfield team is put on the track, and we beat them without Castles for their first home loss in 11 years according to their coach. This is the same team that won both the Conference Championship Meet and the Union County title. This is a fine win for the seniors to go out on. Final dual meet record: 6 wins, 1 loss, 7-1 if we count a forfeit victory over Scotch Plains. Our best ever dual meet record in the school's history. Congratulations 1988 team. We wait to see our final standings in the conference. 44 points (Conf. Champ) plus Conference wins might get us 2nd place overall. Amazing.

Final score Summit 60, Plainfield 53.

Despite the above text saying this meet was without Castles, she is listed in the 100 and 200 as scoring with *very* slow times, which I have left as recorded.
